It can be, if the course and the training provider meet HRD Corp’s requirements and your company is a registered employer with enough levy. Whether a particular course qualifies is a question for the provider and for HRD Corp’s approval, not something a course title settles. ›Do we need paid ChatGPT or Claude accounts for the course?
It depends on the course. Some run on free accounts; others use paid features. Ask the provider before the date, because buying accounts the day before is the usual cause of a slow first morning.
›How long should an AI assistant course be?
Most of the assistant courses on the provider pages we read run one or two days, and a few list four or five days. One day is enough to get a team using an assistant for drafting and summarising. Two days leaves time to work on your own files and to cover checking and data handling properly.
›Should we pick a tool-specific course or a general one?
If your company has already standardised on one assistant, a course on that tool saves time. If people use whatever is to hand, a general course that teaches the habits (prompting, checking, data rules) travels better when the tools change, which they do.
